Why we do what we do.

The Homeschool Resource Center is a one-stop shop

for families looking to learn more about homeschooling. Our goal is to equip parents with the tools and resources they need to make informed decisions about their children's education while at the same time encouraging them along their journey.

The Homeschool Resource Center is staffed by a team of volunteers, education experts and certified instructors who are passionate about helping families succeed.

We are dedicated to providing parents the guidance and support they need to make the most of their homeschooling journey.

Joel & Norma Ortega

Meet our husband and wife team at the resource center! We have been married for 26 years and have 6 children and one rambunctious grandson.

We have homeschooled our children for over 13 years, so we have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share from our own journey in homeschooling.

We are passionate about helping families thrive in homeschooling and can offer resources and practical advice to help you reach your homeschooling goals. Whether you are just starting out or you have been homeschooling for years, we are here to help and answer your questions and assist you in the right direction for your family needs.
